Direct Primary Care, or DPC, is a model of healthcare that puts patients first. In exchange for a monthly (or annual) fee that covers a defined package of services, patients have guaranteed frequent access to their physicians.
Adopting the Direct Primary Care model, Kite Dream Care doesn't accept insurance. However, in addition to direct physician access and better quality care, it can save you money if you have a high deductible plan and want to utilize your primary care physician.

In the traditional insurance model, doctor’s care is dictated by insurances, reimbursements, and leveraged based negotiating pricing. Overhead is very high for practices, due to all the required measured insurance mandates. Frequently overheads are 65%. Consequently, to cover this cost, primary care physicians must see an enormous amount of patients per day quickly, creating unhappy patients and unhappy physicians. Level of care goes down.
In DPC, physicians are paid by the membership fee and are able to charge an appropriate amount that directly reflects the level of care provided. Multiple staff members are not required to report to insurances and overhead is much lower. Patients are happy and physicians are happy to provided the level of care they always imagined providing.
